Is Apeel Used on Our Certified Organic Produce?

No, it is not. While Apeel is approved for use by the Australian government, it is not approved by Australia's certified organic bodies. For this reason, none of the produce we supply that is certified organic has been treated with Apeel.

Fresh Box Organics works exclusively with certified organic farms and wholesalers. Each product we deliver must meet stringent certification standards that include the exclusion of synthetic coatings and treatments such as Apeel.

Why Does This Matter?

The term 'organic' goes beyond what’s sprayed on a crop. It reflects a full commitment to environmental sustainability, transparency, and consumer trust. Allowing non-certified treatments like Apeel onto certified produce would undermine that integrity and we will never allow that.
